Rap’s reigning queen Nicki Minaj will bring The Pinkprint Tour to the first direct arena, Leeds on April 9th 2015. The tour also features special guest Grammy Award-nominated R&B superstar Trey Songz, who recorded two #1 collaborations with Nicki – Touchin/Loving and Bottoms Up
George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic at the O2 Academy – 18th April
The Godfather of Funk, is without doubt one of the most influential musical innovators, producers, recording artists and the single most sampled artist in music history, with his signature grooves crossing all boundaries.
Five at the O2 Academy – 19th April
The hugely successful British boy band Five, consisting of Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville and Sean Conlon, hit the road again with the ‘Loud and Intimate Tour’ in April 2015.
Metropolis presents Black Butter Records at Canal Mills – 25th April
Black Butter records come to Leeds bringing their own artists such as chart toppers Gorgon City off the back of their US tour, along with Applebottom, Kidnap Kid, Huxley and more for a night of house music.
Belgrave Feast at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen – 11th April
Get down to the street feast this Saturday for three floors of street food, art and real ales – as well as some music. What’s more, now that the weather has started to change for the better it is that time of year again to enjoy the sun out on the roof terrace at Belgrave.
Live at Leeds at Leeds City Centre – 1st–4th May
Winner of Best Metropolitan Music Festival at the UK Festival Awards, Live at Leeds is an annual city centre music festival held across a variety of unique venues in Leeds during the first bank holiday weekend in May. The festival will celebrate the best in upcoming local bands, alongside some more established names, featuring a huge number of gigs and other music inspired events.
